Epwin Window Systems has launched additional new training courses to support fabricators who are members of its Approved Commercial Manufacturers scheme. Katie Allman, Commercial Marketing Manager at Epwin Window Systems, commented: “ACM members have access to wide-ranging commercial support to help them extend their knowledge, drive best practice and grow their businesses. The extended training menu offers a range of courses covering a wide variety of commercial subjects and are all available to watch on-demand via our Connect portal.”
Katie added: “Live, in person courses are useful. But we know that our members are busy people who may not have time to travel to a venue to attend a course. Our range of courses run on Microsoft Teams for customers who want to attend live and ask questions. They are then available on-demand for customers to watch at their convenience.”
The latest courses are Limitation of Liability and Pitfalls of Contracting. Both of the hour-long courses are led by Geraldine Fleming, a quantity surveyor whose career began with a major contractor. She lectures regularly for many organisations and professional associations and presents around 50 seminars per year. She also specialises in giving contractual advice across all levels of the construction industry.
Stanley Richardson, Commercial Sales Manager at Emplas who was an attendee at the Limitation of Liability webinar, found the information extremely valuable: “The webinar was a good insight into Liability and how it can be incorporated into our contracts. It was something we hadn’t previously considered and will definitely be making use of in future contracts.”
Aside from the training opportunities, ACM members also benefit from construction project leads thanks to free access to Barbour ABI, commercial market updates, tender downloads and dedicated commercial support materials. Like the training, these benefits are all available via Epwin Window Systems’ comprehensive resource centre, Connect.
Epwin Window Systems’ Approved Commercial Manufacturers scheme is widely recognised and requested by specifiers, giving businesses powerful credibility in the commercial arena. Members also benefit from exceptional commercial support from the systems company to help them maximise the opportunities. Katie concluded: “The Approved Commercial Manufacturers scheme is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in commercial support for our customers.”
