Swish the specialist window and door and roofline and rainwater company will showcase its extensive range of low maintenance PVC-U products at this years Homebuilding and Renovating Show at the NEC April 10th to 13th.
With a huge choice of advanced, energy efficient windows and doors, plus a choice of rainwater systems, low maintenance facias, soffits, cladding and fixings, the Swish family of products is a one-stop-shop for home improvements.
Swish not only offers the very latest and most technically advanced products but also provides a dedicated installer and supplier network. Rigorously enforced and with a strict code of conduct, it means homeowners can make improvements to their properties with absolute confidence.
Alan Calverley, Swish said: “Swish has been structured to make the whole process of making improvements to your property easy.
“We have put together an extensive range of secure, durable and sustainable products so that whether you’re buying new windows or doors, or fascias and guttering, you can do so with confidence because we have done the groundwork for you.
“By creating a network of approved suppliers we have cut the ‘hassle’ out of the home improvement process. The quality and workmanship of our approved installers reflects directly on us and our business. And as our reputation is the foundation of our success we’re not prepared to take any risks and that means our customers don’t.”
The Swish windows and doors and building products ranges can also help homeowners do their bit for the environment. Swish operates a unique recycling service that means it can not only recycle off-cuts from the production process but will collect and recycle old PVC-U windows and other PVC-U products that have come to the natural end of their lifecycle.
This post-consumer waste is then processed and refined, before being used in the manufacture of the new advanced range of Swish window, door, roofline and rainwater products – closing the loop on the recycling process.
And as a fully recyclable product PVC-U is one of the most sustainable products on the market place. In fact with a minimum forecast life of between 35 and 40 years and recyclable up to 10 times, PVC-U has an overall life span of up to 400 years – all this without the need for painting.
Swish is not only at the forefront of PVC-U recycling technology but also the delivery of a new generation of advanced ‘A’, ‘B, and ‘C’ rated energy efficient windows.
According to the latest research the average UK home produces six tonnes of carbon dioxide every year. Multiply that nationally and you get a total of 83 million tonnes.
Studies by Swish reveal that fitting advanced performance windows, for example a C rated window, will save 852kg of CO2 per year, per property – the equivalent of five double decker buses filled with gas – and over a 35 year period this rises to 29.8 tonnes. Fit an A rated window and the carbon saving becomes even higher, even positively adding heat to the property.
Alan added: “Fitting new windows doors, rainwater systems fascias, soffits or cladding can transform the appearance of any property. Advanced PVC-U products are not only available in a range of styles, finishes and colours but moreover are fully recyclable, sustainable and critically durable, saving homeowners both time and money.”
