Safedoors’ customers can now enjoy making an entrance with the arrival of two new tongue and groove style GRP composite doors; customers can choose from the Newmarket, the ‘cool’ new door on the block or the more traditional Chepstow which replicates a timber tongue and groove door.
Appealing to differing style and tastes, the new additions to the Safedoors range come with the quality and assurance that a homeowner would expect from the UK’s original composite door manufacturer.
Evocative of European style, and ultra-modern, this design combines symmetry with simplicity. The vertical arrangement of individual glass panels is perfect for when light is as important as privacy. With either clear or obscure glass, and available in a variety of bold colours and wood effect finishes, including solid black and antique oak, the Newmarket is ideal for houses or flats alike.
The Chepstow is more traditional, with its expanse of glass and complementary style it is perfectly suited to a cottage or rural retreat. The design is available in a palette of striking colours and wood grain finishes, and has seven glass options with either red, blue, green or black accents.
Coming with a 10-year guarantee, choosing a door from the UK’s original composite door manufacturer couldn’t be easier. Each door is made to measure and can even be hung left or right handed, to suit preference or the space available.
All doors come with a full multipoint locking system, that’s hook and bolts top and bottom, for greater security and peace of mind. For added reassurance an upgrade to the Secured by Design specification, as recommended by the Police Authority, is also available on request.
Safedoors recognises that its customers are individuals and for this reason prides itself on its tailored product offering. Launching alongside the Newmarket and the Chepstow are two new glazing options; Zinc Art Simplicity and Brass Art Clarity, as well as a new introduction to the hardware range, a sleek Ponytail knocker, giving customers greater opportunity to create a bespoke entrance.
The team also offers a suited approach when it comes to selecting the right hardware, matching it to the customer’s choice of door design. This includes a knocker, letterplate, numerals and a spyhole in gold, chrome, white or satin chrome finishes.
Achieving some of the lowest U-values in the market place – an indication of the door’s thermal efficiency; the lower the U-value, the better its efficiency, Safedoors also helps homeowners to reduce their heating bills and keep homes warmer.

Safedoors is the retail brand offered by the UK’s original composite door manufacturer, Permadoor, and is part of the Epwin Group. The company offers eight A rated door styles, with the balance of the range having a very effective B rating, achieved despite the enhanced amount of glass incorporated into those designs.
Safedoors will be exhibiting at Ecobuild as part of the Epwin Group stand (N1310). Visitors are welcome to join us at London’s ExCeL Centre, 5th – 7th March 2013.
